Ministry of Home Affairs UT of Jammu and Kashmir. The Ministry of Home affairs has notified the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Adaptation of central law) third order 2020. The centre has given repealed or substituted 26 state laws; the general clause act 1897 applies for the interpretation of this order as it applies for interpretation of laws in force in the Territory of the India.
In Terms of Immediate effect, the Acts mentioned in the schedule to this order shall, until repealed or amended by a competent legislature or other related Authority home effect, subject to the Adaptation and modifications directed by the schedule in this order or if its so directed, shall stand repealed.Ministry of Home Affairs UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
Indian citizen can new buy land in Jammu and Kashmir
Before the last year in August repeal of Article 370 and 35-A, non-residents could not buy any immovable property in J & K. However the fresh changes have paved the away for non-residents to by land in the Union Territory, the government said that the order will be called the UT (Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir) (Reorganization Adaptation of central laws) the order come into force with Immediate effect. The main information about the following order; No Domicile or permanent resident certificate will be required for purchasing land in the valley. Like as agriculture land can be purchased by agriculturalists engaged in farm related activities and the government can now declare any area as “Strategic” for use by the armed forces take over any land for “Industrial Use” or public use under the article 35A of the constitution, which was read down along with article 370 in August 2019 to end J & K’s special status the law also empowers a person or the government to transfer the agricultural land to a landless person as per the eligibility, residency conditions and procedures to be notified by government also revoked article 370 of the constitution of India on August 2019 and existing state of Jammu and Kashmir into the Union Territories, namely J & K and UT of Ladakh.
